I see Bela in the San Francisco Bay Area

California is a really big state so, we only got the chance to see the San Francisco Area since we were only there for 10 days. The San Francisco area is one of the four main parts of California and one of the top most visited places in the United States. The places that we’ve been to are San Francisco, Fremont, Daly City, Sausalito and San Jose.

From New Jersey, it took us about 6 hours by plane to San Francisco City.

Aside from rich history, San Francisco is also famous for its spectacular nature. So, on our first day, we had a picnic in the park and found this dog interested to join us.

This was the longest non-pool slide I’ve ever been to!

San Francisco downtown! I like it better than NYC since it is less crowded.

This is the San Francisco City Hall. Its dome is the fifth largest in the world.

This is Lombard Street, the world’s most crooked street. This place is amazing! My uncle told me that it was made that way because before, when donkeys are still used to bring loads, they can’t climb a steep way.

Sausalito, CA. The drive from San Francisco is about 30 minutes.

Tadaa! I’m with the iconic Golden Gate Bridge!

We also got up-close to the bridge when we rode the ferry that went under it. It was fun.

I wish I could keep the bridge in my pocket. Haha!

This is the Alcatraz Island, one of the most infamous prisons in the country for housing notorious criminals. It is located in the middle of San Francisco Bay.

Image

According to the tour guide, there were 14 attempts to escape from Alcatraz prison and every escape attempt failed. However, there was a set of inmates who tried to escape and left no trace.

  1. We share the same loves for visiting Orlando AND San Francisco!! I also have family that lives in San Francisco, and enjoy visiting there! My husband and I were actually married there! =) I wonder if our families are related in any way??? LOL! Great photos! Do you take them yourself?

    • Hi there. I think it’s a very good place to get married. I find the city really romantic. Plus, most of the people are nice. However, I got shocked with the very cool weather there since I was very fresh from the Philippines when I visited the city. Haha. Yes, I took them. Thanks πŸ™‚

I see that you live in Florida. It’s a very nice place, too. Our stay there wasn’t long enough to give us time to visit the beaches. I heard Florida beaches are good. πŸ™‚

      .

      • Yes, Florida beaches are so nice! Next time you visit Orlando again, you can drive to Daytona Beach since it’s not much further from Orlando. It’s popular for its beachy waves and the Daytona racing. Clearwater Beach is my favorite and that’s on the other side of Fl, just south of Tampa, in the Gulf of Mexico where the water is more relaxed. =)

I’ve never been to PI but have heard it’s very hot there, so I can imagine how cold you were in SF!

      • Oh, I see. I hope I can go back to FL and visit those lovely beaches. When I was in Orlando, the weather there is hotter, or almost the same, compared to the Philippines. So, I kinda got sick because from SF, we went straight to the South – from a very cold to a extremely hot place πŸ™‚

I hope you can visit the Philippines someday! There are plenty of nice places to see πŸ˜€

      • I really want to! My brother recently went with my dad and visited our family there! I figure I can “sweat” out the weather there since it is so hot here in FL, too! =) I bet that was extreme weather changes your body must have gone through! Anyways, I hope to visit there one day, the pictures from my brother’s trip were so beautiful. Also, my dad really wants me to eat belut! LOL!
